ConvertRadar is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. All your data stays on your device — always.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
ConvertRadar does not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Your conversion history or usage patterns
- Device identifiers or location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
2. Data Storage
All preferences you set in ConvertRadar — selected currencies, theme, language, recently used currencies — are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
3. Exchange Rate Fetching
ConvertRadar fetches daily exchange rates through a Cloudflare Worker proxy connected to the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank data). This request contains no personal information — only a request for currency rates. Rates are cached on your device for 24 hours to minimize network requests.
4. Third-Party Services
ConvertRadar uses the following third-party services:
- Frankfurter API / European Central Bank — anonymous exchange rate data. No personal data is transmitted.
- Cloudflare — proxy for rate fetching. No personal data is logged.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — app distribution only.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools.
5. Children's Privacy
ConvertRadar does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
