MarketSet is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. All your shopping lists, spending history, and settings stay on your device — always.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
MarketSet does not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Your shopping lists, product data, or spending information
- Device identifiers or location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
2. Data Storage
All data you enter in MarketSet — shopping lists, cart items, prices, statistics, settings — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
MarketSet works fully offline. An internet connection is only used for one optional feature: in-app purchases (Pro subscription).
3. In-App Purchases
MarketSet offers an optional Pro subscription via Google Play. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play and RevenueCat, subject to their respective privacy policies. We only receive confirmation of whether a subscription is active — no payment details are ever shared with us.
4. Notifications
MarketSet may send local notifications to remind you of scheduled shopping trips. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no data leaves your phone to make this work.
5. Backup & Export
The Backup & Export feature (Pro) allows you to export your data as a JSON or CSV file. This export is initiated by you and shared via your device's native share sheet. We have no access to exported files.
6. Third-Party Services
MarketSet uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Their privacy policy applies to purchase flows.
- Google Play — app distribution and payments.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools.
7. Children's Privacy
MarketSet does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
